There's been a lot of buzz in my community about infant to toddler carriers. Soul's solution to this need, the AnoonA has made a timely appearance in the market place. As a mother of just one, I doubted the benefit of an infant to toddler carrier for my already 10 month old but what I found during my week with AnoonA is that this particular carrier offers such versatility that even at this age, there is lots of room to grow and that the AnoonA could grow with us!
I don't know why I'm always so intimidated to wrap in public. But I am and always default to a buckle carrier or ring sling. I've given in. There's no denying it now, I've officially tumbled into 'mommy blogging' territory. Instead of fighting it because of all the negativity and condescension that seems to come with that label, it is time to embrace.
Finding balance, juggling a new life, trying to find my way; these are all ways I could describe what really is just 'trying to find what works'. I often tell people I am hodge-podging together an income but in reality it feels a little more like throwing spaghetti at the wall and waiting to see what sticks.
Rucksacks and back naps! As some of you know I've gotten hooked into an amazing local babywearing community since the middle of my pregnancy. Not only are these folks super supportive and fast becoming friends but I am learning so much about wrapping, carrying, and all the benefits that go with. Right now I'm focused on learning how to back carry. Today I tried a new finish and for the last two days simply having Trent on my back has equalled pretty decent naps. My kid, the sleepless wonder for the first three and a half to four months (night or day), is napping.
